NetValue Inspires the Next Generation of Young Workers

NetValue's very own Web Developer and Project Co-ordinator, Melissa Richards, was recently featured in the Future Force Action Network for enterprising IT careers.

Future Force Action Network aims to ease youth transitions into the workplace by providing employers with the tools, strategies and networks to enable them to offer best practice work experience, internships, apprenticeships, cadetships and jobs.

Within the feature article, Melissa discusses what got her interested in her career, her job, and advice to youth looking for a career in ICT.

Melissa's top career tip?

"Try to get some experience in a customer service job while you are still at school. This will get your foot in the door and give you confidence ans you move through your career."

NetValue is honoured to work with Smart Waikato Trust to inspire the next generation of young workers through the Future Force Action Network.
